Dream Days

Dream Days by Kenneth Grahame is a charming collection of stories and essays inspired by childhood, imagination, memory, and the passage of time. Drawing on the author’s affectionate recollections of youth, the book captures the wonder, freedom, and emotional intensity of childhood while gently contrasting them with the responsibilities of adult life. Among its best-known pieces is The Reluctant Dragon, a humorous and imaginative tale that turns the traditional image of a fierce dragon upside down. Other stories explore friendship, adventure, loss, and the mysterious world of childhood imagination. Written with warmth, wit, and lyrical simplicity, Dream Days offers a nostalgic celebration of childhood and the enduring power of memory and imagination.
